Life Is Colorful

Dreams

Posted on: February 7, 2009

When we were young, we had dreams and expectations. We imagine things, we keep thinking about what we want to be, what we want to do, what makes us proud and happy and what will we become.

We grew up, and things seemed like having its own way. We accept our success or failures and we move on. The rapid change, the need to do the urgent things, the works, the pressures and the failures, all kill part of our visions.

Things have changed, but they cannot really take away the dreams. We still have to dream on, to visualize our desires, our wants, our vision of our future, even when we are considered too old for such things.

Cornel Sanders started his business when he was sixty, and started the whole successful KFC business. The main thing is not the age – whether being too old, or too young, but it is the desire to dream on, and the courage to realize it.

Vivid visualization, taking it to sleep, thinking constantly about it, talking about it, planning it, adding all the spices to our dreams will make us a bit closer to the realization of our dreams.

Entrepreneurship starts with a dream, a simple wish of tiny restaurant operation, or a huge business of real-estate development, or a modest training center for English education, or just any other self-employed money learning fun.

The ability to dream on is one of the fine quality of human race that other species do not possess. So dream on, and put a deadline: make it a giant dream, a tiny one, an old everlasting one, a newfound one, a hobby related one, a change of life one, a religious one, a stupid one, a stroke-of-genius one, or just whatever…… just continue to dream on……..

Then,

Just Go and Do It!!!

MISTAKES

Don’t judge others too harshly for their mistakes.

It really isn’t kind, and they already know they make plenty of mistakes.

Remember that you make mistakes, too.

Yours are different.

They are your mistakes, not someone else’s.

Only you can judge them.

And only others can judge their own mistakes.

I also make mistakes, and I can’t judge your mistakes by any measure of my own.

So be kind and don’t judge my mistakes…or anyone else’s.

Painting Moments

Painting a moment
with only a word
means it might surely
be what ones misheard.
Sometimes a moment
needs painted more well
with a little action
to help ones to tell.
For sometimes stories
of words by and by
might just be portrayed
to others as a lie.
So make your actions
to follow the view
as all the words
that are coming from you.
Painting a moment
needs a little style
textured with trueness
and not just a smile.
Let ones to know you
as you daily strive
and you’ll be happy
each day you’re alive.
Yes of course sadness
will venture on through,
yet it’s the sadness
that will expose true.
Painting a moment
with an empty inside
will only display
a long dusty ride.
Yet painting moments
with ones that you share
will bring you smiles
from ones love and care.

In Sight of the Day…

“Don’t be distracted by criticism.

Remember the only taste of success some people have

is when they take a bite out of you.”

Zig Ziglar
Author and Speaker

Come In Time

Here now ages
stand each turn
giving us each
chance to learn.
Ages changes
from before
stand awaiting
tomorrows door.
Words of wisdoms
setting sun
speaks the essence
of what’s done.
Here now changes
center stage
come from moments
different age.
So if ages
worry you,
just remember
what is true.
Ages turnstiles
come in time
for tomorrows
fine design.

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don’t already
have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities
for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary,
because it means you’ve made a effort.

It’s easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those
who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

MASTER YOUR FEARS
I’ve heard it said that we’re born with only a few fears
like the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises.
All other fears We learn along the way.
Like the fear of failure, the fear of rejection
– even a fear of success.
I believe our greatest Enemy in life is fear,
because fear keeps us from doing many of
those things we would like to do that would
make Our life more complete and
more enjoyable.
Doubt is the first cousin of fear and precedes it.
We weren’t born with doubt.
Our habit of doubt has grown throughout our Life.
If we dwell on a doubt and give in to it,
it then grows into fear.
The Apostle James reminds us that doubt makes us Ineffective, “a sea that is tossed and driven by the wind;
and every decision you then make will be uncertain,
as you turn First this way, and then that.
If most of our fears and all of our doubts are learned along the way, then we can “unlearn” them
by becoming masters of our thoughts.

I’ve heard Zig Ziglar quote Mark Twain when
he said, “True courage is not the absence of fear,
it’s the Mastery of fear.”
The people who live the life of their dreams
have just as many fears as those who live
miserable, Unfulfilled lives – they just learned
to master their fears instead of allowing
their fears to master them.
Norman Vincent Peale, writing in
“You Can If You Think You Can”,
provides us with a prescription for
mastering fear and Doubt.
“You can cancel out fear with faith.
For there is no force in this world
more powerful than faith.

Ambrose Redmoon said that,
“courage is not the absence of fear,
but rather the judgment that something else
is more Important than fear.”

Everyone is afraid at some time of another.
Those who succeed in conquering fear have
put their focus on what’s more Important
to them rather than on the fear.

If your young child darted into the street
in front of traffic, you’d easily overcome The fear of any physical danger that
retrieving the child would pose.

The child’s life is more important to you
than the fear.
So focus on what’s beyond the fear
what’s on the other side
– when you overcome the fear.
Brian Tracy has a great way to fight doubt.

He says, “Don’t’ wonder whether something is

possible Over and over if you Have to, but
ask how can you do it, not whether you can.”
And that’s worth thinking about.
~Vic Johnson~

“That’s just the way I am.”

When we hear this, someone is usually telling us,
“Get off my back” or “Accept me as I am.”
Often it’s a response to criticism.
It could be about chronic lateness,
thoughtlessness, broken promises,
physical or verbal abuse, or infidelity.
Whatever it is, we’re asked to let it go.
In the end, this is a ploy to get us to lower
our expectations based on the dubious idea
that certain bad habits are an intrinsic part of
character and therefore beyond our control.
We’re expected to believe it’s foolish
and futile to expect a person to change.
There are, of course, lots of things that are
beyond our control: short stature, big bones,
receding hairline.
Fortunately, character is different.
That’s completely within our control.
The poor and the rich, the slow and
the smart, the plain and the pretty
all have an equal opportunity
to become people of character.
Sure, character can be influenced by heredity
and environment, but it’s determined by choice.
No disposition, circumstance, or experience
is so powerful that it forever fixes our character.
That is never finished.
It’s constantly shaped and sculpted by the choices
we make to nurture or ignore our more noble
instincts and to surrender to or overcome
negative impulses and corrupting temptations.
When it comes to what we demand of ourselves
or others, we should never lower our standards.
Character is a function of choice.
Weaknesses and bad habits are
not excuses not to get better.

This is Michael Josephson reminding
you that character counts.

“Surprised by Joy — Impatient as the Wind”

Surprised by joy — impatient as the Wind
I turned to share the transport–Oh! with whom
But Thee, deep buried in the silent tomb,
That spot which no vicissitude can find?
Love, faithful love, recalled thee to my mind–
But how could I forget thee? Through what power,
Even for the least division of an hour,
Have I been so beguiled as to be blind
To my most grievous loss?–That thought’s return
Was the worst pang that sorrow ever bore,
Save one, one only, when I stood forlorn,
Knowing my heart’s best treasure was no more;
That neither present time, nor years unborn
Could to my sight that heavenly face restore.
