Mind Control
Human mind is never still.
Like the flowing water it moves steadily and endlessly from one thought to another.
The mouth likes to talk, the tongue craves to taste, the eyes long to see, the legs desire to move.
Every sense organ looks outward to seek pleasure.
How is mind control achieved?
The water can be controlled by arresting its flow.
But this lasts only until the water is forceful enough to gush out.
The mind flows through the sense organs.
By shutting the doors of these sense organs, the mind can be brought under control, but only momentarily.
Is there an easier way?
Let the powerful rays of the sun shine on the water.
Drench your senses in the God… & His Divine Name.
The mind is effortlessly controlled!

I Believe In Me
For many years of my life
I wore my heart for all to see
Making it much too easy
For others to take advantage of me.
I lived and I loved three times
To the loftiest heights
Always crashing to the ground
When my loves took wings of flight.
I put my whole being into love
Never thinking of myself
Whatever I truly needed
Was put high upon a shelf.
I thought another person
Could make me whole
Until I spent hours alone
Looking deep within my soul.
Life is different now
I found the woman I used to be
I know once again who I am inside
In myself I now believe.
I know what I have to offer
I am kind …. I love …. I care
No one will crush my spirit again
For now I’m wiser and aware.

Just A Brief Stop
This life is but a brief stop,
As we travel down destiny’s way.
We must always take time to savor,
The joys of each and every day.
While we live life to the fullest,
Spreading our good works all around.
We are receiving back so much love,
From delightful people we have found.
Family and friends make this stop,
A little bit of heaven here on earth.
Fleeting days seem like just seconds,
So fill these brief moments with mirth.
But soon we will be traveling on,
Having a glorious home with the Lord.
However since we still have today
There is still time to reap our rewards.
Now take a long walk in the woods and
Stop to watch the animals at play.
Pick a pretty bouquet of wild flowers
While you bask in this warm sunny day.
You must never let today end without
Telling those you love how much you care.
This will fill your life with a pleasant feeling
That all these loved ones are able share.
With these simple things this brief stop,
Has been successful as you travel on your way.
While sharing your life’s accomplishments
Have made the best of these concise days.

Your presence, is a present to the world.

What Is Your Address?
There is a family nobody likes to meet,
They live, it is said, on Complaining Street.
In the city of Never-Are Satisfied,
The River of Discontent beside.
They growl at that, and they growl at this;
Whatever comes there is something amiss;
And whether their station be high or humble,
They are known by the name of Grumble.
The weather is always too hot or too cold,
Summer and winter alike they scold;
Nothing goes right with the folks you meet
Down on that gloomy Complaining Street.
They growl at the rain, and they growl at the sun;
In fact, their growling is never done.
And if everything pleased them, there isn’t a doubt
They’d growl that they’d nothing to grumble about!
And the worst thing is that if anyone stays
Among them too long he will learn their ways,
And before he dreams of the terrible jumble
He’s adopted into the family of Grumble.
So it were wisest to keep our feet
From wandering into Grumbling Street.
And never to growl whatever we do,
Lest we be mistaken for Grumblers too.
